He-Man are proud to support and be involved in events within the industry and community.
29th April 2018 - Driving Instructor Show in Manchester
17th March 2018 - MSA National Conference in Crewe
He-Man was once again at the MSA conference, held on 17th March in Crewe. Despite a weekend of bitter weather and stop-start snow this was once again a great event. It is always good to have face to face discussions with instructors at the events and was great fun to join everyone for the excellent quiz night.
1st February 2018 – MacMillan Cancer Support
He-Man employees have come together to raise £690 for MacMillan Cancer Support. Money was donated by every employee and also some family members. To show further support for those effected, employees also shaved their hair; some going extremely short, others going completely bald and braving the freezing weather.
We are very proud that everyone has come together to support this very worthwhile cause.
7th December – Manufacturing Champions Awards 2017
He-Man are very proud to have had members of our team reach the final of the Manufacturing Champions Awards. Richard Draper and Pete Dabell were amongst the 5 finalists in the Employee-Led Innovation Award, Richard was also one of only 3 finalists in the Manufacturing Leader Award.
The competition included some very high profile global corporations and was hosted by BBC’s Steph McGovern. This was an outstanding achievement.
17th November 2017 – DIA Conference
He-Man were very pleased to attend and support the DIA Conference in St Neots. Headed by Carly Brookfield, CEO of the DIA, the day was full of interesting presentations on various aspects of the industry from an impressive list of guests.
Teams from the DVSA and Highways England were in attendance, not only to present, but also to field questions from those in attendance.
Thanks to everyone that we were able to talk to on the day and to the DIA for including us in this event.
